19 year old Colleyville, Texas solo power-pop artist Bryce Avary aka The Rocket Summer may be poised to burst beyond his home-state cult following. He has posted RealVideo and Windows Media versions of his new video Skies So Blue, just in advance of his debut album, and hopes to stage a national US tour this year. You can download the new video from his Website (link below).
Next week Avary releases his debut full-length, Calendar Days. It follows by two years his self-titled EP (now out of print, although his label may have a few copies left). Yes, he put that one out at age 17. The new album appears on Huntington Beach, CA-based The Millitia Group, home to The Beautiful Mistake, Noise Ratchet,and Tora! Tora!
