Vancouver avant-garde folkies Mecca Normal (Jean Smith and David Lester), who recently released their 10th LP The Family Swan, are available for classroom bookings in North America. They’ve prepared a presentation on demystifying the artistic process and exploring the role of underground culture in today’s Gap-Coke-Sony-Time/Warner society. They invite students and teachers to contact them directly.
