Vincent Gallo to release second solo album

Director/actor/composer Vincent Gallo will release his second solo album 10 June for the UK and 25 June for the US on Warp Records titled, with classy simplicity, Recordings Of Music For Film. The set compiles tracks from four of Gallo’s movies: 1979’s If You Feel Froggy, Jump; 1981’s Downtown ’81; 1984’s The Way It Is; and 1998’s Buffalo 66.
All tracks for the new set have been freshly remastered from the original tapes. The album includes a previously unreleased/unheard song, Brown Daisies, composed for but not included on released versions of The Way It Is.
Gallo’s new LP follows last year’s When (also on Warp) and three others: a 1982 LP with his band Bohack, and soundtrack albums for The Way It Is and Buffalo ’66.
