Lambchop to release UK-only enhanced single from new LP

Nashville unpeggable (though country-centric) collective Lambchop—led by singer/composer Kurt Wagner—release the first single from their February 2002 LP, Is A Woman, this month. Bearing the album version of the title track along with three remixes, the disc comes out on Berlin’s City Slang records for the UK only on the 27th.
Remixers for Is A Woman are Bristol, England hybridist duo Alpha; Berlin based DJ/producer/solo artist Maxwell Implosion; and German electronica solo act Schneider TM (aka Dirk Dresselhaus), who does a remix of album track The New Cobweb Summer.
The enhanced CD also includes an animated video for Is A Woman by UK animation/production team Shynola—who have done films for Stephen Malkmus, Nike shoes, Radiohead, and UNKLE, among others. Shynola member Richard Kenworthy told ArtByte magazine last year that they’ve turned down many requests by bands. “We’re very passionate about music.
