Yo La Tengo play live radio fundraiser 15 March 2002 New Jersey pop experimentalists Yo La Tengo will play live once again at the annual WFMU-FM fundraiser in Jersey City. Each song will answer a request called in by a listener making a donation to the noncommercial station.     New York city area residents can listen on 91.1 FM, while fans in the Hudson Valley can tune in at 90.1 FM. The rest of us can listen via a RealAudio feed (check our link).     The trio haven’t released any product for awhile, but have been touring extensively. The film The Sounds Of Science by Jean Painleve, for which YLT contributed the soundtrack, plays 8 April at the Somerville Theatre in Somerville, Massachusetts, and 20 April at The Barbican in London, UK. | WFMU-FM | | WFMU audio feed (RealAudio) | | Yo La Tengo | | discography | | sample | | top of page |
