The Sunshine Fix take Age Of The Sun to US west coast
28 June 2002

The Sunshine Fix, the current side project of The Olivia Tremor Control’s co-founder Bill Doss, will tour some western US states next month to kick off what is shaping up to be a full US tour. They’ll be joining up with Ugly Casanova on 6 July in Houston for nine shows together.
(Ugly Casanova is the new solo project of Isaac Brock, front man for Modest Mouse. Brock will hook up with the rest of his band at the end of July for a month-long US tour.)
It will be Doss’s first performance for the west coast as The Sunshine Fix since the January release of the project’s debut LP, Age Of The Sun. We provide a link (below) to a full length MP3 of a Sunshine Fix non-album track, their cover of The Beatles’ A Day In The Life.
The dates so far for the The Sunshine Fix are

July
  4 - Atlanta, GA (Masquerade)
  6 - Houston, TX (Rudyard's)
7 - Austin, TX (The Mercury)
10 - Tucson, AZ (Club Congress)
11 - Tempe, AZ (Nita's Hideaway)
12 - San Diego, CA (The Casbah)
13-14 - Los Angeles, CA (The Troubadour)
15 - San Francisco, CA (Slim's)
16 - San Francisco, CA (Bottom of the Hill)
