Tender Trap may return for US tour this fall

Former Tallulah Gosh, Heavenly, and Marine Research front woman Amelia Fletcher’s new London trio Tender Trap (with Rob Pursey, also formerly in Heavenly and Marine Research; and John Downfall, ex Marine Research) have just finished a tour of the UK and Sweden in support of their debut album, released this month, titled Film Molecules. It’s out on K Records for the US and on Fortuna Pop for the UK.
    Friday and Saturday the band play a couple of festivals in England: the second annual Happy Robots festival (a grass-roots mini festival alternative to the massive Reading Festival) on 2 August at The Rising Arts Centre in Reading, and the first Ladyfest London at The Garage on the 3rd. They also plan to play the Murcia festival in Spain on 15 September, and are working on finalizing a gig the night before in Madrid.
    K Records has revealed that the band, who first visited the US for a very brief set of east coast dates last month, are putting together a second US tour for November. We’ll bring you details as we get them.
    The new LP Film Molecules has three vinyl 7" singles out, each on different labels, from different countries, and with differing track listings. Fortuna Pop has released the three-song Oh Katrina for the UK, K Records put out Face Of 73 for the US, and Spain’s Elefant records will release That Girl this summer. | Tender Trap | | TT on K Records | | Oh Katrina (full length MP3) | | top of page |
