The Locust headline Oops! The Tour, ready two new albums 3 July 2002
The shows will feature a changing set of experimental/abrasive guest artists, among them Blood Brothers, Cattle Decapitation, Erase Errata, Get Hustle, Hella, JD & Friends, Orthrelm, Rah Bras, The Flying Luttenbachers, Mr. Quintron & Miss Pussycat, and Wolf Eyes. Check the Oops! Tour Website for details. Meanwhile, The Locust have two new albums in the works. One, a Peel Session LP to be released on Ipecac, will feature songs recorded at the BBC last year with John Peel. Those sessions included Moth-Eaten Deer Head, Priest With Sexually Transmitted Diseases - Get Out Of My Bed, Cattle Mutilation, and The Perils Of Believing In Round Squares.
