25 Suaves gearing up for winter US tour

Over-the-top Ann Arbor, Michigan (by way of Osaka, Japan) noise/ soul/ rock act 25 Suaves are gearing up for another tour of the US on the heels of one just finished last month. They’ll be hitting towns in the midwest and east starting 14 February with a show at Rochester, New York’s Bug Jar.
    25 Suaves front man Mr. Velocity Hopkins aka Peter Hopkins, formerly in Ann Arbor’s Couch (not to be confused with Munich’s Couch), is putting finishing touches on a new album from his other band, no-wave supergroup Danse Asshole, which also features DJ Party Girl from 25 Suaves, Ton B from Mind Flayer, and Neil Burke from Men’s Recovery Project. That set should be out this year on Breathmint Records. Meanwhile, you can still get the 25 Suaves/Oneida live split vinyl LP from Bulb Records.
    Dates are still coming together for the 25 Suaves winter tour, which they hope to extend through 20 March... but so far the gigs are
