Ciccone sign to new UK indie Muff Records, reveal new single

London adrenaline pop quintet Ciccone (Rebekah Delgado on vocals & guitar, Micky Boy on vocals & guitar, Mr. Kev on bass & vocals, Damo Waters on drums & vocals, and Gareth Dennis Jones on keyboards) formed in 1999 and released their debut EP Forget Your False Mess'iahs last July. As they’ve been searching for a label, they’ve been upping the energy at frequent gigs in and around London and getting gratifying amounts of UK airplay for an unsigned act.
    Ciccone have just revealed that they’ve signed a deal with new indie label Muff Records, based in Reading, England (no relation to the New Jersey, USA label of the same name). The deal will bear fruit of two singles as well as the band’s debut album this year.
    Ciccone enter the studio next week with Swedish producer Nille Perned (The Wannadies, Cay), who worked with Ciccone on their limited edition, July 2001 EP Forget Your False Mess’iahs. Rockbites has learned that they’ll record three new songs: All Stacked Up (A-side) along with Looking For The World and Ladykiller (B-side).
    In other Ciccone news, the band have announced that they’ll be filming two videos in the coming months—and are looking for bodies. Delgado writes “...we need extras for one of our new videos pretty soon—those interested in being in it please email me back—all it will involve is drinking beer in a pub so far.
