KaitO return to US for second visit

Norwich, England frenetic noise pop quartet KaitO (Nikki Colk on vocals & guitar, David Lake on guitar & vocals, Gemma Cullingford on bass & vocals, and Dieta Quintrell on drums & vocals) staged their debut US tour last year. They enjoyed themselves enough to return now for a more extended visit, beginning at San Francisco’s Noise Pop festival on 27 February (see our story from earlier this week).
    The tour continues through late March with a still-to-be-confirmed show in Brooklyn. Along the way they’ll play this year’s SXSW festival in Austin in mid-March, and on various dates will share the stage with a cavalcade of hot indie bands including Folk Implosion, Guided by Voices, Preston School of Industry, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, Clinic, Chicks on Speed, Man or Astroman?, and Moldy Peaches.
    KaitO’s forthcoming tour, like their last one, is in support of their August, 2001 debut album You’ve Seen Us... You Must Have Seen Us, released by Fierce Panda in the UK and by Devil In The Woods for the US.
