Brainwashed.com releasing limited edition triple CD

Two years ago, noncommercial rock music info site Brainwashed.com—home away from home to such artists as Coil, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Labradford, Matmos, and Thighpaulsandra—began a project to assemble a compilation album featuring rare, live, and exclusive tracks from their friends. The project has metamorphosed and grown until a recent announcement that the comp will in fact be a very limited edition triple CD along with a 28 page booklet. You can pre-order one of the 1,500 sets now for shipment in April.
The first two discs will each be 76 minutes long, with the track listings (along with MP3 clips) posted on the site; while disc 3, or Disc X as they’re calling it, will be a surprise.
Some of the announced artists on the set are Bedhead, Cex, Current 93, Fridge, Matmos, Meat Beat Manifesto, Nurse With Wound, Stars Of The Lid, and Thighpaulsandra (aka Tim Lewis, member of Coil and of Julian Cope’s band). | Compilation info from Brainwashed.com | | Brainwashed | | top of page |
