Noise Pop fleshes out lineup for 10th anniversary fest

No fewer than 45 artists, many on the forefront of evolutionary & avant-garde pop & rock, are already confirmed for next month’s 10th annual Noise Pop festival in and around San Francisco. The roster grows daily and could double by the time the shows begin on 26 February.
    Confirmed artists as of press time include Adult, The Aislers Set, Alaska, Azure Ray, Big Star, Call And Response, Death Cab For Cutie, The Dirtbombs, The Dismemberment Plan, The Donnas, The Evening, The Extra Glenns, The Faint, The Fastbacks, Fiver, The Folk Implosion, For Stars, The Go, The Glands, The Good Life, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, Guided by Voices, Daniel Johnston, I Am Spoonbender, Imperial Teen, M Ward, The Makers, Modest Mouse, The Moldy Peaches, The New Pornographers, Oranger, The Pattern, Paula Frazer, Pedro the Lion, Persphone’s Bees, Preston School of Industry, Sara Shannon, Seldom, The Stratford 4, Trackstar, The Velvet Teen, Versus, Virgil Shaw, Vue, Whysall Lane, and a one-off collaboration between John Doe of X & alt-country vocalist Neko Case.
