Ultimate Fakebook reveal brief US midwest tour

Manhattan, Kansas rockers Ultimate Fakebook (front man Bill McShane, bassist Nick Colby, and drummer Eric Melin) have revealed the dates for a brief US college-town tour starting this weekend in Lawrence. They’re warming up for more extensive touring in support of their forthcoming album Open Up And Say Awesome on their new label Initial Records, due 19 March for the US.
    The new 12 track LP includes guest appearances by Matthew Patrick Pryor and Jake Cardwell from The Get Up Kids and Stephen Egerton from The Descendents. It was produced by longtime associate Ed Rose.
    Most of the dates on the impending UF mini-tour will be with Champagne, Illinois metal/synth pop quartet The Red Hot Valentines. Dates are

January
19 - Lawrence, KS (The Bottleneck)

February 14 - Bloomington, IN (Rhino’s)
15 - Ann Arbor, MI (Halfway Inn)
16 - Madison, WI (Univ of Wisconsin Club 770 - free)
19 - West Lafayette, IN (Purdue Univ Memorial Union)
