15 January 2002

London area post grunge quartet Seafood have announced that they’ll kick off their upcoming world tour in the US, with dates in late March and April. Also on the bill: Boca Raton, Florida singer/songwriter Chris Carrabba aka Dashboard Confessional (former member of Vacant Andys and also in Further Seems Forever), and Lawrence, Kansas pop five piece The Anniversary.
The US tour—whose dates are still coming together—will coincide with the US release of Seafood’s third album, When Do We Start Fighting, due in March on Big Wheel Recreation. The disc came out last July on Infectious for the UK.
First, though, the band continue a UK tour this week with Jimmy Eat World, and next month they’ll play three dates in Europe with Ash.
The forthcoming Seafood European dates are

January
17 - Glasgow, UK (QMU)
18 - Liverpool, UK (Liverpool Univ.)
24 - Norwich, UK (Waterfront)
25 - London, UK (Astoria)
26 - Wolverhampton (Wulfrun Hall)

February
  2 - Luxembourg, Belgium (Kulturfabrik)
  7 - Amsterdam, Holland (Paradiso)
  8 - Goettingen, Germany (Outpost)

We’ll post an update when the band announce their US tour plans. | Seafood | | Big Wheel Recreation | | discography | | top of page |
