Combat Floppy Project post rare MP3
14 January 2002

Berlin has been a hotbed of musical creativity for decades, but the past year has seen the city host a new wave of electronica projects inspired by, and inspirational of, game console soundtracks. One notable band just starting to gain attention is Combat Floppy Project, the young duo of Nico (also in Roenne, and co-founder of Berlin electronic/DIY label Superkid Discos) and Marc.
In 2000 CFP released an extremely limited edition tape (just 50 copies) which has garnered a disproportionate share of interest among forward looking labels such as City Slang. And through the end of this month you can download a rare MP3 file from the band, CPUrope, from the City Slang Website. If you are not already a member of their MP3 club, sign-up is free but requires your email address so they can send the password. | City Slang MP3 club sign-up | | Superkid Discos (not yet live) | | top of page |
