Louie Austen sets brief US tour for debut album

60-something Austrian show/blues/lounge singer Louie Austen, now Europe’s premiere technoporn crooner thanks to a rather unlikely collaboration with 20-something electronica producer Mario Neugebauer, stages a brief and rare US tour next month starting 6 March at Joe’s Pub in New York city. He’s supporting his new Kitty-Yo album Only Tonight, out 5 March for the US and released this past fall for Europe and the UK.
    Only Tonight is Austen’s first 'dance' album. It includes a surreal/hilarious/erotic duet with Toronto-born Berlin transplant Peaches (born Merrill Nisker) on a track called either (sources vary) Grab My Shaft or Crap My Shaft. Anyway...
