Escapism, Death Wish Foundation announce new label
18 February 2002

Young NYC area hardcore bands Escapism (front man K Rollins; drummer, programmer Alias X; guitarist Miss O’Ginny; bassist Evil Dweeb; and 'lead instrumentationist' Aaliyah Sharpton) and Death Wish Foundation (front man David Siegel; bassist David Tashjian; guitarist Vlad Panov; drummer Kyle Hillbrand) have announced the establishment of the Gatorbox Recordings label. The new indie rises from the ashes of Rollins’ Artgarde Records, which folded last month shortly after releasing Escapism’s debut EP A Dream Deferred.
First out of the gate from Gatorbox will be a re-release of A Dream Deferred, to be followed by an Escapism/Death Wish Foundation split EP and a various artists collection.
Escapism plan to record their debut album this spring, to be titled Waking Up From The American Dream, while Death Wish Foundation expect to release their debut EP this year. Gatorbox is working on the launch of their Website. Rockbites will keep you posted. | Escapism | | top of page |
