Madrid’s Migala announce brief US debut tour

Madrid, Spain melodramatic rockers Migala—who’ve been compared to a scattershot collection of avant garde artists including Tindersticks, Arab Strap, Third Eye Foundation, and even Lambchop—signed last year with Seattle’s Sub Pop Records after an enthusiastic introduction by Stuart David of Looper and formerly of Belle & Sebastian. Sub Pop put out a US domestic release of their third album, Arde (English: It Burns), last July.
    During recent extensive touring in Europe, the band recorded tracks for a live album to be released later this year on their Spanish label Acuarela Discos and titled Restos De Un Incendio (English: after the fire).
    Migala have just revealed the confirmed dates for their debut US mini-tour of the west coast, starting the last day of the month in Seattle. The shows are

  2 - Sacramento, CA (Old Ironsides)
  3 - San Francisco, CA (Bottom of the Hill)
  5 - Los Angeles, CA (Knitting Factory Club)

  7 - San Juan Capistrano, CA (Coach House)
  8 - Tucson, AZ (Club Congress)
