The Aislers Set reveal rare tour for March

Amy Linton’s San Francisco twee/noise band The Aislers Set have announced the dates for a rare tour next month, coinciding with the Noise Pop and SXSW festivals and covering cities in the US southwest. They’ll likely be playing new tracks from their forthcoming third album, whose recording is in progress and which may see release this year.
    The forthcoming, not-yet-titled LP follows 2000’s The Last Match and their 1998 debut Terrible Things Happen.
    In addition, The Aislers Set will have a previously unreleased song on the upcoming Kill Rock Stars double-CD compilation album, due May 2002. Other bands on the set, which will include nothing but previously unreleased tracks, are The Butchies, C Average, Neko Case, Gene Defcon, Mecca Normal, Stereo Total, Mary Timony, Two Ton Boa, and many others.

16 - Denton, TX (Rubber Gloves)
17 - Tulsa, OK (Curly’s)
19 - Albequerque, NM (Launchpad)
