The Music recording 2nd EP, set Japan dates 14 February 2002 Tracks in production are The People, Jag Tune, Let Love Be The Healer, Life, and Turn Out The Light. The forthcoming EP follows the bands November debut, the EP You Might As Well Try To Fuck Me, produced by Lenny Franchi (Björk, Curve, Garbage, Tricky, and Wire). Prestigious music mag/Website NME said about The Music last fall, to their predominantly UK audience: Not all amazing new bands have to be American you know. So next to the Strokes and The White Stripes, you should also be getting frothily excited about Leeds The Music. Having toured Europe last month, The Music have postponed a four stop UK tour to allow them to open on 5 April for Doves in London. Theyve also set a pair of dates in late April in Japan. April 2 - Ashton Under Lyme (The Witchwood) 3 - Colchester (Arts Centre) 4 - York (Fibbers) 5 - London (Astoria w/ Doves) 24 - Osaka (Club Quattro) 25 - Tokyo (Club Quattro) | The Music | | fan site | | top of page | |
