11 February 2002

Toronto stoner rock trio Sea Of Green (front man Travis Cardinal, bass player Eric Kuthe, drummer Chris Bender) are set to enter the studio in April to record their third full length. They’ll be working with producer Nick Blagona (Deep Purple, Nazareth, The Police) and expect to release the not-yet-titled set on Port Washington, New York metal label The Music Cartel later this year.
(You may have heard Sea Of Green without knowing it: ESPN and MTV have used their tunes as soundtrack and interregnum music for such cultural offerings as Road Rules and X-Games.)
Leading up to the recording sessions, Sea Of Green head to the UK for a two week tour with Glasgow heavy rockers Marshan—who are supporting their August, 2001 debut EP Kings Thursday On The Friday Street.
The Sea Of Green/Marshan tour dates are

March
22 - Swindon (The Vic)
23 - Swansea (to be confirmed)
24 - London (The Barfly - Camden Monarch)
25 - Harlow (The Square)
26 - Exeter (Cavern)
27 - Tunbridge Wells (The Forum)
28 - Stoke (The Rigger)
29 - High Wycombe (White Horse)
30 - Bradford (Market Tavern)
31 - Glasgow (Nice N Sleazy)

April
  1 - Aberdeen (Lava)
  2 - (TBA)
  3 - Newcastle (Trillians)
