The (new) Lillettes return to studio for single re-make
2 August 2002

This weekend, Bournemouth, England party-punk five-piece The Lillettes (unrelated except by name to the Brighton band around in the late ’70s) head back to the studio to re-record their song Taste Of Things To Come—which they’ll turn around and make available by the end of the month. Check their Website for updates.
In their two years, The Lillettes (current lineup, porn-stage names only, thank you: Angel Delite on vocals, Bunny duBois on lead guitar, Belle Swelle on guitar, Parma Violet on bass, Kitty Bang Bang on drums) have gone from just looking like punk bitches to acting and sounding the part, swapping members (including their singer) and putting out a string of increasingly prurient & lurid fare—all limited ediition to date. Their debut single was on the German Thunderbaby label
You can catch their erotic caberet on the 15th, Upstairs at The Garage in London where they headline an evening also featuring The Divine Brown (back from a tour opening for NYC retro act The Strokes) and The Goose. | The Lillettes | | Cruise Control (full length MP3) | | top of page |
