Three Men & Black get quiet for UK tour
6 September 2001
image
UK punk pop supergroup Three Men & Black are Jake Burns (ex Stiff Little Fingers), Jean-Jacques Burnel (The Stranglers), Steve Diggle (The Buzzcocks), and Pauline Black (ex The Selecter). The four, who all (separately) splashed noisily onto the UK music scene in the latter half of the ’70s, got together recently with the idea to perform acoustic versions of their hits, mixed in with some spoken word recollections of the day.
They have just revealed a nine-stop theatre tour of the UK starting 2 December in Milton Keynes at The Stables, running through 10 December for a show at the Theatre Royal in Winchester.
Diggle, who recently toured Brazil with The Buzzcocks, is recovering from a fractured left wrist—which he expects will be fully healed before the December tour starts.
    Here are the dates

December
2 - Milton Keynes (The Stables)
  3 - Middlesbrough (Corner House)
4 - Manchester (The Lowry Theatre)
  5 - Macclesfield (Bar Cuba)
  6 - Wrexham (Central)
  7 - Swindon (Arts Centre)
  8 - Nottingham (Rock City)
  9 - London (Astoria 2)
10 - Winchester (Theatre Royal)
