Momus launches US label, sets North Am dates for October

Scottish singer/ songwriter/ poet Momus (Nicholas Currie), who has released a dozen or so albums over a 16 year career, has launched a US indie label in association with Sacramento, California distributor/ label Darla Records. The new imprint bears the name American Patchwork and has two discs on tap for a 21 September release: Reflections On A Past Life As Played On The Roland Synthesizer, by Rroland, a solo artist from Cali grape country born James Lucas; and Pet Cancer by Phiiliip, an American living in Berlin who recorded the set in New York city.
    Momus himself has set dates for a US Canada tour next month and into November, although no venues are confirmed yet. All shows will be with the multilingual, Berlin based Stereo Total (whose name they’d prefer you pronounce en Français, since you asked). The cities are
