The Handsome Family release 5th LP, set US tour

Voodoo country duo and critic’s faves The Handsome Family, Brett and Rennie Sparks, release their self recorded fifth album Twilight next week on Chicago indie Carrot Top records. They have just revealed dates for a five week south-to-east US tour starting this Friday—see below.
    After finishing work on the new album, the husband/wife team moved from their long-time home of Chicago out to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Brett’s parents live. They bought an adobe hacienda (Rennie says “...it’s dirt cheap—even the dirt is cheap”) and have put together a Macintosh based home studio.
    While more dates are no doubt in the offing, here’s the plan so far
