Freeheat to release 2nd EP next month, set brief UK tour
8 October 2001

UK rock quartet Freeheat, formed two years ago by two members of The Jesus And Mary Chain (Jim Reid on vocals & guitar and Ben Lurie on guitar) along with Nick Sanderson (drums, ex Earl Brutus) and Romi Mori (bass, ex The Gun Club), have toured the US twice without a label and without any records to sell.
Last November they released a four song US only EP on Hollywood, California’s Hall Of Records label titled Don’t Worry, Be Happy. They follow it up 5 November 2001 with a UK only (for now) release on Outafocus Recordings titled Retox.
The new disc contains the same tracks as the original, but remixed and remastered. They are The Two Of Us, Facing Up To The Facts, Shine On Little Star, and Nobody’s Gonna Trip My Wire. The UK release also has one new song, The Long Goodbye.
Freeheat have also announced four UK dates for next month

November
26 - Leicester (Princess Charlotte)
27 - Glasgow (King Tuts)
28 - Leeds (New Roscoe)
29 - London (Mean Fiddler)
