Departure Lounge reveal new LP for 2002
26 October 2001

Songwriter Tim Keegan’s London ambient pop quartet Departure Lounge last month released a long-awaited instrumental album as part of the Bella Union label’s Series 7, produced by the prolific Kid Loco.
We’ve just learned that the Lounge’s next album (with vocals this time), Too Late To Die Young, is slated for a February or March 2002 release on Canadian indie label Nettwerk Productions for North America and on London’s Bella Union for the UK. It will be their second album, but the first full-length conceived as such by the current incarnation of the band. More details, and links to song samples, as we get them.
Last night Departure Lounge finished a series of Paris shows with Kid Loco; as of press time they haven’t announced any new tour dates.
