Maximilian Hecker announces fall tour of Europe (update)

(update - originally published 1 Oct 2001) 24 year old Berlin solo artist Maximilian Hecker, already burdened with media comparisons to Radiohead, released his gorgeous debut single in July on Kitty-Yo Records titled Infinite Love Song b/w White. His debut album, also titled Infinite Love Song, came out late last month worldwide except for the US and the UK. It is set for a 19 October US street date, and the UK will see a domestic release early next year.
    Hecker has just announced new dates in Belgium with Low, Smog, and Pinback; and in the UK with Couch. The new shows extend his previously announced European fall tour, which starts 25 October in Mailand, Italy and now continues through 23 January for a closer in Leuven, Belgium.
