Electroclash 2001 fest set for NYC this month

Electroclash is a recently coined music genre that refers to a post-rave electronic movement thriving now in and around New York city. Electroclash is also the name of the first annual festival celebrating the genre, produced by Larry Tee and taking place 10 - 14 October at five venues in Manhattan: Club SPA, Exit, Webster Hall, Berliniamsburg at Luxx, and Club Badd at Joe’s Pub.
Artists confirmed for the five day event include (among others) Adult, Badd Inc., Chicks On Speed, Detroit Grand Pubahs, DJ Assault, Fischerspooner, Khan, Kid Congo Powers, Ladytron, Peaches, Prozac, and Whatever It Takes.
