Pigface-plus tour dates set
8 November 2001
image
As we first reported a month ago, former PiL & Nine Inch Nails drummer Martin Atkins’ touring project cum musical circus known as Pigface will hit the road once again late this year for a major US tour under the banner Preaching To The Perverted. Along for the ride—on what is expected to be a 4+ hour show each night—will be St. Louis industrial act Gravity Kills and Washington, DC heavy rockers Godhead.
Also appearing in various guises (solo, as Pigface members, doing spoken word, etc.) on various dates—Pigface shows are absolutely never the same twice—will be vocalist/synths player/electroclash artist Meg Lee Chin; singer/songwriter and fomer vocalist for Ministry and The Revolting Cocks, Chris Connelly; and other special guests.
On the merch table for the tour will be new releases on Atkins’ new imprint Underground, Inc., as part of the just-launched Notes From The Real Underground compilation CD series. In March of this year, Atkins (who is also the head of Chicago’s Invisible Records imprint) released a Pigface double CD retrospective compilation titled Preaching To The Perverted—see our review.
