Tampa, Florida industrial creepsters Grim Faeries self-released their debut album online in September. Now Martin Atkins—head of Invisible Records and former drummer with PiL, NIN, and Ministry—has picked up their Disenchanted Forest LP for distribution through his recently announced, Chicago-based promotion company Underground, Inc.
Although it’s not yet available from online sources such as Forced Exposure or Amazon, the album will be appearing in better record shops soon and is available online now from the band’s Website and direct from Atkins’ label Invisible Records.
GF founding member Curse Mackey (Evil Mothers, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Spasm) is currenty away from his band and on tour across the US performing with Atkins’ Pigface collective—but promises to take the Faeries on the road (also in the US) early next year.
In addition to the Disenchanted Forest CD, you can find a couple of Grim Faeries remixes on the upcoming Notes From The Real Underground collection, due 11 December in the US form Underground, Inc. | Grim Faeries | | Creeping Beauty (MP3 clip) | | Underground, Inc. | | Invisible Records | | top of page |
