Preston School Of Industry announce UK tour, LP details 9 May 2001 Theyll warm up with a gig at Chicagos Metro tomorrow night as part of the second annual Noise Pop Festival held in the Windy City (Noise Pop is in its 9th year in its home city of San Francisco), supporting reunited New York New Wave legends Television. PSOIs debut release, a CD-EP/10" titled Goodbye To The Edge City, is now set for an 11 June US release date on Kannbergs own Amazing Grease Records. The bands debut LP will be titled All This Sounds Gas. Its due the last week of August on Matador in the US and on Domino in the UKboth are Pavements old labels, as well as the current US/UK labels for ex-Pavement front man Stephen Malkmus and his new band The Jicks.
