cLOUDDEAD release breakthrough debut album
23 May 2001
image
Earlier this month, US experimental hip-hop art space rockers cLOUDDEAD released their self titled debut album on Big Dada (an imprint of Ninja Tunes Records) for the world apart the US. In the US the band’s label is Mush Records, who have released the disc Stateside but are not distributing it through the larger online retailers such as Amazon or CDnow.
The new set is a compilation of the six singles/EPs the band released last year, and pretty much makes a mockery out of attempts to describe it. Take a listen to the full-length RealAudio streams on the Atrecordings site (check our link) and give it a try yourself.
cLOUDDEAD are Dose One (also in Deep Puddle Dynamics, North American Adonis, Stuffed Animals, Them, etc.), Why?, and Odd Nosdam (the latter two are also in Reaching Quiet). CD from Amazon UK | CD on Atrecordings (with RealAudio) | | Dose One History (mostly in Japanese) | | Big Dada Records | | Mush Records | | top of page |
