Calexico announce EP, dates for North Am & Europe tour

Genre-blending experimental pop duo Calexico (Joey Burns and John Convertino from Giant Sand) have just announced a major North American/European tour to start 30 May at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. The US/Canada leg takes them through 29 June for a show at Emo’s in Austin, after which they head across the Atlantic for seven festival appearances in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Holland.
Calexico release a new studio CD-EP, Even My Sure Things Fall Through, on 22 May for the US on Quarterstick Records. Tracks are Sonic Wind, Crystal Frontier ('widescreen' version), Untitled III, Chanel No. 5, Banderilla, Crooked Road And The Briar, Crystal Frontier (acoustic version), and Hard Hat.
