Spoon announce second tour supporting Girls Can Tell 9 March 2001
Austin post-punk trio Spoon, who released their understated and amazing album Girls Can Tell last month, have just announced their second US tour of the year. The new dates begin 13 April and run through the first week of May—this time covering mostly the north and east parts of the country after a couple of dates in their home state of Texas. Most of the shows will be supporting Dayton, Ohio lo-fi pop collective Guided By Voices—who release their own new album Isolation Drills on TVT Records next month (we’ll be bringing you a review shortly).
