Addie Brik’s debut EP posted online in RealAudio

Georgia born vocalist/experimental composer Addie Brik, now living in London, released her debut EP last year on cutting edge UK indie label Lo Recordings. Titled My Little Pony Ride, the six track set has been pigeonholed as 'lounge' and 'leftfield', but it’s one of those albums that makes a mockery of pigeonholers. Available only on 12" vinyl, Pony Ride has been hard to find. Now Belgian online retailer Atrecordings as posted full-length, high quality RealAudio samples of all the tracks.
Brik contributed to last year’s Constant Friction: Collaborations 2 collection on Lo, which also featured Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, Richard Thomas, Kid 606, and others. On her debut she works with The Russian Chamber Orchestra of London, Richard Thomas, Plaid, and Jono Modmore.
Brik also appears on the 1999 Law & Auder Records female electronica compilation Female Of The Species, which the label plans to re-release soon. | Addie Brik on Atrecordings | | Addie Brik page on Law & Auder Records | | sample | | Lo Recordings | | top of page |
