For Stars US mini-tour, 3rd album details 14 March 2001 Front man Carlos Forster recently said of the new set We used some louder ideas and added a little extra noise. Its not as sparse as some of our earlier stuff, but its not a huge, loud fast record, either. Asked about where For Stars music finds points of reference, Forster said I dont really understand rock music. Its pretty heavy on the guy attitude. Im trying to get beyond conventional ideas of rock and pop and make something beautiful. You can get MP3 clips of tracks from their 1998 self-titled debut and from 1999s Windows For Stars, as well as a few downloadable videos, from the bands Web site.
