Chicks On Speed announce US tour for April
1 March 2001

Munich based synth pop/arts & crafts rock trio Chicks On Speed have confirmed most dates for an upcoming debut US (and possibly Canada) tour for April, kicking off with three nights in New York city.
CoS released their second US full length, The Re-Releases Of The Un-Releases, this past October. The album contains most of their May 2000 release Will Save Us All (various transformations or mutations applied to the songs) along with remixes and extra tracks.
The band—ex New Yorker Melissa Logan, Sydney, Australia native Alex Murray-Leslie, and Munich born Kiki Morse—are especially fond of Chicago-New York techno/ punk/ pop/ feminist trio Le Tigre, with whom they played this past November in Basel, Switzerland. Logan wrote afterwards “[It] was the best experience, they’re so amazing, it changed my life! I think it was one of the best collaborations for a live concert we’ve had.” For the upcoming US tour, CoS will do shows with Sylvesterboy, IQU, Kid 606, and other bands.
