Frank Black & The Catholics reveal Europe summer dates

Frank Black And The Catholics, led by Pixies founder Frank Black (born Charles Michael Kitteridge Thompson IV), recently finished a very successful North American tour (despite getting all their vintage equipment stolen in April while in Pennsylvania) supporting their stunning third album Dog In The Sand. This morning they revealed 11 European dates, many of them at Festivals, for August—leading up to previously announced shows at England’s Reading and Leeds festivals.
The band’s current lineup is Black on vocals and guitar, David McCaffrey on bass and vocals, Dave Phillips on guitar and pedal steel guitar, Eric Drew Feldman on keyboards and vocals, Rich Gilbert on guitar and pedal steel guitar, and Scott Boutier on drums. Former Pixies lead guitarist Joey Santiago guested on a few tracks on the album.
The European tour dates are

16 - Avenches, Switzerland (Rock Arenes)
17 - Clermant-Ferrand, France (Free Wheels)
18 - Oporto, Portugal (Paredes De Coura Festival)
23 - Utrecht, The Netherlands (Prince van Oranjhal)
24 - Dronten, The Netherlands (Lowlands Festival)
25 - Reading, England (Reading Festival)
26 - Leeds, England (Leeds Festival)
