Residents history site online with 29 years of samples

Belgian online retailer Atrecordings.com has posted a major tribute site to San Francisco’s (by way of Louisiana) masters of surreality The Residents, including full length streaming RealAudio for most of the songs the band released. The streams come from sixteen albums, from 1972’s Meet The Residents through their 2000 release Roadworms, available now from Euro Ralph on CD. Along with discs available in the US from East Side Digital, you can now assemble a fairly complete Residents collection.
The Residents are now on their 2001 'Icky Flix' tour in Europe, with a show to be Webcast today from the Paradiso in Amsterdam at 9 pm (3 pm EDT, noon PDT). They play tomorrow at Hof Ter Loo in Antwerp, and Saturday at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
