Julie Doiron touring Canada in July
6 June 2001
image

Canadian singer/songwriter Julie Doiron, former bassist and vocalist with lo-fi rockers Eric’s Trip, will stage a five city tour of Québec and Ontario starting 16 July at The Blacksheep Inn in Wakefield, northwest of Ottawa.
Doiron keeps hinting at a French language EP or album or both to be recorded this year, but there’s still nothing concrete to report. Her most recent work appears on the new solo album by Gordon Downie (of The Tragically Hip) titled Coke Machine Glow, on which she guests on piano and vocals; on The Shanti Projects Compilation Volume 2 (AIDS benefit CD from Bad Man Recording); and on the 2000 album Julie Doiron And The Wooden Stars.
    Here are the dates

July
16 - Wakefield, QC (The Blacksheep Inn)
17 - Hamilton, ON (The Raven)
18 - Toronto, ON (The Rivoli)
19 - London, ON (Call The Office)
21 - Waterloo, ON (The Jane Bond)
