Departure Lounge on tap for Bella Unions Series 7 27 June 2001 Earlier this year Departure Lounge took up semi-permanent residence at Nashville, Tennessees The Slow Bar to play every other Tuesday with a rotating assortment of guest artists. The band are playing mostly as a trio: founder/front man Tim Keegan along with Lindsay Jamieson and Jake Kyle; Chris Anderson remains in London but drops by now and then to play. The band are calling themselves The Living Room for the Nashville shows, during which they play old and new Departure Lounge songs as well as covers. Meanwhile, Robin Guthries new duo Violet Indiana, who recently released their debut album Roulette (see our review), have set the date for the LPs next single, Killer Eyes, as 23 July for the UK.
