XBXRX touring midwest US, Canada for Gop Ist Minee

Tour happy Mobile, Alabama electronica/punk quartet XBXRX, who this spring played the western US and Hawaii in support of their second album Gop Ist Minee, have just announced a first set of summer dates running July into September—many to be confirmed, more to be added as they find bookings.
    The young band (ranging in age from 17 to 26) will headline shows from 2 July until 28 August, at which point they’ll join Unwound for nine shows together.
    Gop Ist Minee, recorded by solipsistic producer Steve Albini in just two days last summer, is the band’s second full length and their debut for Olympia indie 5 Rue Christine. Released in January, it follows their self-produced 14 track Love Songs for The Blind, which you can now purchase online from Anal Log (check our link, below).
    This month XBXRX are set to release a split 7" with Semiautomatic, and will release a live full-length CD this fall on ToYo Records.
