Eric’s Trip finish mastering live album 20 June 2001
Front man Rick White selected the 22 tracks for the album from the Eric’s Trip tour archives. Toronto musicians/producers Nick Holmes (aka Nother) and Noah Mintz (aka Noah’s Arkweld, aka hHead) mastered the album just last week—and we can now reveal its full track listing: Stove, Beach, My Bed is Red, Universal Dawn, Your Always Right, Anytime You Want, Girlfriend, Feeling Around, Smoke, Sun Coming Up, Sunlight, Listen, Happens All the Time, Frame, Smother, Near Here, My Room, Sloan Song, Blinded, Burn, Belong, and The Beauty Was All Froze. Meanwhile, Eric’s Trip bassist and solo performer Julie Doiron has been recording a mostly-French language full-length album at Little Bullhorn studio in Ottawa with producer Dave Draves (Lister, King Kung, The Occasionals). Not yet titled, it will be released this year on Endearing Records in Canada and on Jagjaguar in the US. Doiron plans to follow up quickly with an English-language LP. Prior to the Eric’s Trip reunion tour, Doiron plays some Canada dates in July as well as a 28 June show in Toronto at El Mocambo, and will play in Gordon Downie’s band (he of The Tragically Hip) this summer. | Eric's Trip on Sub Pop | | fan site | | Teenage USA Recordings | | bio | | discography | | top of page | |
