Unwound post animated video, set major tour

Olympia’s Unwound, the first band signed to Kill Rock Stars and one which has continually evolved over their 10 year history, this April released a long awaited and now critically acclaimed studio album titled Leaves Turn Inside You. They’ve just announced dates for a month long US tour, and posted a Flash animated video to the album track Scarlette (check our link).
    The tour starts 28 August at the Reed Lane Activity Center in Fargo, North Dakota. Unwound (vocalist/guitarist Justin Trosper, bassist Vern Rumsey, drummer Sara Lund) then play a handfull of dates with XBXRX before teaming up with The Thrones and Mecca Normal for the middle third or so of the tour—that should be some heavy shit, dude. If you’re in one of the lucky towns for that bill, ya gotta go. The tour runs through 28 September with a closer at Portland, Oregon’s B Complex.
