Spoon video debuts today on US cable

The new video for Everything Hits At Once, the lead track off Spoon’s subtle and amazing 2001 album Girls Can Tell, debuts today on US cable channel MTV2. As a so called Feature Premiere, the Viacom subsidiary will air the indie clip once per hour all day.
    The video, directed by Divya Srinivasan with Peter Simonite, employs a live action digital animation technique that she used previously in the Richard Linklater animated feature Waking Life, set for an October release in theatres.     Austin’s Spoon just got back from a European tour and on Monday began a new set of dates for the western US, running through early August.
