TRS-80 release remixes album; live radio appearance

Chicago synths & drums trio TRS-80 release BACKUP: 01 tomorrow for the US on Martin Atkins’ Invisible Records label. The 15 song set is a grab bag of remixes, previously unreleased tracks, and a few of the band’s own faves from their back catalog. If you have yet to experience the wonder of TRS-80’s off-kilter, waggish, ultra high energy take on rock, BACKUP: 01 will be a good intro.
On Saturday 28 July the band play live on Chicago radio station WNUR (89.3 FM) at 4:00 pm (9 pm BST). If you’re not in the Chicago area you can listen over the Web using RealAudio—check our links.
And Saturday night TRS-80 play a record release party at Chicago’s Empty Bottle night club along with DJ Hamster, Bunnyhug, and K-RAD.
