Godspeed You Black Emperor! set initial US tour dates

Montréal experimental band Godspeed You Black Emperor! have announced a few North American dates for their upcoming fall tour, during which they’ll preview songs from their next album. The dates confirmed as of today are within a short radius of Chicago (where they’ll be recording), in Ontario, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
    As we mentioned last month, GYBE! head into the studio in October with prolific producer Steve Albini (Low, Breeders, XBXRX, Wire, Murder Inc, Slint) for their third full length album. Meanwhile, GYBE! side project A Silver Mt. Zion are also working on a new album, their followup to their 2000 debut.
    Here are the dates (more to come, we expect)

September
27-28 - Toronto, ON (Palais Royale)
29 - Detroit, MI (St. Andrews Hall)
30 - Cleveland, OH (Beachland Ballroom & Tavern)

October
  1 - Columbus, OH (Wexner Center)
  2 - Chicago, IL (to be confirmed)
  3 - Milwaukee, WI (Miramar Theatre)
