Momus tours western US, plays homeless benefit in NYC 8 January 2001 The Partnership For The Homeless is the largest network of homeless shelters in the US, with a staff of 100 and a volunteer army of more than 11,000. The Fez show was organized by a couple of private citizens associated with the Partnership. Leading up to the benefit, Momus plays seven west coast US dates starting 18 January at the Los Angeles Knitting Factory. The busy bard will also serve on a panel this Thursday (11 January) at the Future Of Music conference in Washington, DC, sponsored by the Future Of Music Coalition. The Coalition, whose founders include musicians, lawyers, and label insiders, works to forward the interests of musicians within the music industry.
